Who am I?
Hey! I’m Julia Henn, a recent graduate of Ball State University with a huge passion for the social media world and serving my campus community.
During my time at Ball State, I stayed highly involved on campus and loved taking on opportunities that challenged me and helped me grow. I was a member of Alpha Omicron Pi, part of the all-inclusive dance club Operation Black Out, involved in two Bible studies, and the founder and president of Greek InterVarsity at Ball State. I also had the privilege of serving on the executive board of Cardinal Kitchen, Ball State’s student-run food pantry.
Sorority & Leadership:
I recently completed my term as Vice President of Community Relations for AOII in December 2025. This role gave me invaluable experience networking with companies and brands, collaborating with our social media and philanthropy chairs, and strengthening my professional skills. I also led our AOII Bible Study, guiding sisters in their spiritual growth using Greek InterVarsity content. Helping others grow in their faith was something I was truly passionate about.
Dance Involvement:
At Operation Black Out, I served as Secretary, where I managed attendance and supported the mental health of our members. I worked one-on-one with dancers to ensure they could attend class and feel supported, helping create an encouraging and inclusive environment. I previously served as Historian Chair, where I filmed and edited choreography videos, including our 2024 Senior Goodbye video that was showcased at our Spring show.
Cardinal Kitchen:
As PR & Communications Director, I helped document and share content about our student-run food pantry, attended executive board meetings, and volunteered weekly serving students in need. Cardinal Kitchen supported Ball State students with grocery and personal care items, and I was proud to contribute to that mission during my time there.
Greek InterVarsity:
This role was especially close to my heart. During my time at Ball State, I was an official Ambassador for Greek InterVarsity (Greek IV) and later planted a Greek IV ministry on campus in Fall 2025. Once it became a recognized student organization, I served as President, managing social media, promoting the ministry, and encouraging other fraternity and sorority chapters to start their own Bible studies. I also created content for the Greek IV national Instagram and attended monthly Zoom meetings to help support and grow the ministry. Attending Greek IV conferences in 2024 and 2025 inspired me to build this community on campus, and it was incredible to see it grow.
All in all, I stayed very involved during my time in college, and I’m so grateful for every experience and opportunity I had. Each role helped me grow academically, professionally, spiritually, and personally. I’m excited for what the future holds and can’t wait to see where God continues to lead me.
